El obereño Guillermo Hartfield fue el gran protagonista de la 6ª edición del torneo Provincial de Mayores de Tenis, que se disputó en las instalaciones del Club Centro de Cazadores, al quedarse con el máximo trofeo en la categoría Libres A, la más importante.
En la definición, el hermano mayor de Diego se impuso a Aníbal Blasco con parciales de 6-3 y 7-5, confirmó por qué sumó puntos en todas las fechas anteriores y sigue liderando el ranking en su categoría.
En otros partidos finales, Damián De Lima superó a Raúl Aguilera con parciales de 6-4, 5-7 y 10-6 y se quedó con el título en la categoría Libres C, mientras que Germán Mentlik conquistó el premio mayor en Caballeros 35 años al vencer a Nahuel Anderlique por 6-2 y 6-2. Alejandro Corti, en tanto, festejó en Caballeros 35 años B al superar en la final a Fernando Scarso por 6-2 y 7-5, y Daniel Fretes venció a Ignacio Ramírez por 6-3 y 6-0 en 45 años B.
La próxima fecha, la séptima del calendario, se disputará en Puerto Rico los días 4, 5 y 6 de septiembre.
