Diego finally pulled out of the second Copa Petrobras tournament that takes place on Monday in Aracaju (Brazil).

Unfortunately, Diego couldn’t play his first singles and doubles rounds in Bogota and had to retire. He had a few hard matches last week and it was better for him not to force his body.

So, nothing serious and we’ll see him next week in Acaraju, for the second tournament of the Copa Petrobras !

Diego’s opponent Leonardo Mayer pulled out, due to an ankle injury. El Gato will finally face Diego Alvarez, another countryman. They will play the first match on Court 18 at 11.00 am.

After suitable rest, Diego will play Doubles associated to Pablo Cuevas and will face the Colombian team Juan Sebastian Cabal / Alejandro Falla and Center Court.

Diego will play the first tournament of the Copa Petrobras that stops this week in Bogota (Colombia).

He’ll face in the first round his countryman Leonard Mayer. They played against each other a few days ago in the semis of the Cali challenger. The match is not scheduled before Tuesday.

All the matches will be broadcasted on the local TV Señal Colombia.

Diego couldn’t reach the final of the Seguros Bolivar Open in Cali, his countryman Leonardo Mayer beat him in the Semis 7/6, 4/6 and 6/4.
