Full sun in Italy this morning, so all the matches will probably be played today.

Diego’s second round match is still in progress vs Simone Vagnozzi…

It just ended with the victory of Vagnozzi : 6/4, 0/6 and 7/5.

… I could write you pages about rain these last days…

Whatever, the sun was hiding in Italy today and Diego’s match has been postponed. He’ll play tomorrow at 10.30 am on the Center Court. Much better, no ?

The Italian team beat Diego & Jean-Julien in 2 sets : 6/3 and 7/6.

Diego’s next match is scheduled on Center Court tonight, but not before 9.00 pm.

Diego beat Thomas Fabbiano is 2 straight sets : 6/3 and 6/0 ! Great job !

His next opponent tomorrow will be another Italian : Simone Vagnozzi.

Diego will also play doubles with his Bermuda’ partner Jean-Julien Rojer today at noon, on court n. 3.

They will face a local team : Enrico Burzi and Alessandro Da Col.

Diego will play the first round of the Alessandria Challenger on Tuesday. His match is scheduled as second on the Center Court. His opponent will be a local player : Thomas Fabbiano.

Diego has already turned the French Open page and is now in Italy for the Alessandria Challenger that begins next Monday.

The second round of the RG qualies has just finished, before it was too dark to play… After two tight tie-breaks, the third set looked like it would never end.

And so Diego won’t reach the next round to access the main draw. It is just frustrating to be so close to the victory. Grmpf.
