Things are getting serious now, Diego will be playing the first round of the qualies at the ATP San Marino Cepu Open today. His oppent will be Giacomo ZONZINI (SMR).
He’ll be on Center Court, as the third match of the day and shouldn’t play not before 1.00 pm (local time).
The long rehab process is now over and Diego is ready to hit the ball wherever tennis is calling him.

It’s now confirmed that he will spend the next few weeks in Italy, playing a few Futures and Challengers. He’s on the way to San Marino Cepu Open to play the qualies next week-end. Good to see him on the road again !
Waiting until the last minute to take the right decision, Diego finally pulled out from the FUTURES F11 in Oberá. After a small muscle distention last week, he didn’t want to take any risk. Nothing to worry about, he needs now a few more days of rest and more practice ! We’ll see him back on court in a few weeks, probably in South America.
The Hartfield Bros have now plenty of time to watch more football matches from the World Cup…
Today’s match against Agustin Picco was tough. Diego lost in the tie-break of the third set -Picco won 4/6, 6/4, 7/6 (3) - but there is no need to worry, the main reason was only tiredness.
He’ll stay in Oberà to get ready for the next tournament that starts on Monday (Futures F11).
