Diego is now part of the Segundo Saque Team, he will answer questions and talk about his experience as a former professional tennis player.
This is an awesome opportunity for those who want to know more about tennis from the inside…
Segundo Saque: Diego, what are you best tennis memories ?
Diego Harfield: I have a lot, but the first one that comes to my mind is my Roland Garros experience, in front of Roger Federer. I was not even in the top 200, I had just arrived from an American Tour and had won 2 challengers there, passed through the qualies in Paris. Of course, seeing that I had to face Federer in the first round, I had mixed feelings.
It was impossible for me to win a match in that part of the draw, but it was an incredible opportunity to play my first match on the Philippe Chatrier court, against the best player ever. After that, thousand things happened, I lost matches and won other matches that were almost impossible to win. Tennis is a combination of good and bad feelings.
